Joshuafest is a festival in Quincy, California. For those of you that don’t know what it is, here’s a link.

For those of that are wondering why you care about this festival, here’s a link for you.

Get Johannes to JoshuaFest!!!

Going there this year was pretty much a dream come true. It was a rare place my family and dozens of friends from across California connected. I had a great time seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

We didn’t play the main stage, but we played the Indie stage for our set, and they put us on the acoustic stage an extra 3 times(once electric, twice actually acoustic). Every show seemed to get a pretty positive response.

It was a great trip. I’m very much excited by how the weekend went. I’m hoping the rest of our tour lives up to it’s beginning.

Tour Week 2

We did not travel too far this week. We went from Copperopolis, to Angels Camp, and from there to about half a dozen tiny towns within an hour’s drive. In Angels Camp, we stayed at Refuge. It’s a fairly new church. We love all the people there so much, we put a link to their website on our main website. Go find them.

We left Angels Camp on monday, and played a show in Stockton. They have a Pastor Paul that is super cool to us too. I have pictures of him from the last time we were down here.

Tuesday, we came down to Salida, to the other Paul’s church. We had a show Wednesday night, and a bunch of kids came and acted insane.

It’s pathetic how few pictures I got this week. Here’s a video.

Hope you like it.

I left home with my typical gear, with anticipation of what God had in store for us this summer.

Our first stop was visiting our friends in Willows. Not for a show, but just to see our friends in the town. We missed a lot of them, but we’re hoping to be back and see everyone in a week or two.

Then we went to Sonora, where they set up a concert for us outside Walmart friday night.

and Sunday, we led worship at Copperopolis’ local Baptist Church.

Here’s the deal, friends. I am VERY much moving into the direction of making these simply with movies. I would really like a better camera. I got my heart set on this one.

If the banjo taught us anything, it’s that I have no problem blowing everything I have on some giant, impulsive buy, then starving for weeks. If you care about me, would you do something to save me from myself???

Here are some much more informative videos.

We’re moving to youtube! Check out our channel and leave some comments and/or plays.

Thanks.
