In 2016, a major milestone happened in my artistic life: I released my first full-length album, Minä rakastan sinua (I Love You). The album took three long years to create, and after what felt like endless toil, the final product was finally released on CD (who still remembers CDs? 😉). Producing music truly takes time, at least according to my work ethic. At its most intense, one song—Ystävä, mestari (Friend, Master)—was worked on over 30 different days, according to my recording diary. That song has been played the most out of all my tracks on Radio Dei over the years. So, perhaps the hard work was worth it. The album was also featured as the “Album of the Week” on that station, which led to an interview with Dei’s Anu Lehtipuu. I’m grateful to have now released the entire album digitally for streaming, and you can listen to it via the links below.
